Basic Arthroplasty Course
Basic Arthroplasty course is a 2-day program on the fundamentals of arthroplasty for surgeons who are performing joint replacement surgery with assistance and are eager to become independent operators. The program which includes didactic, observorship and sawbone demonstrations helps aspiring arthroplasty surgeons in getting a solid footing by giving them a strong theoretical foundation and practical exposure to different aspects of arthroplasty. Surgeries are beamed into DePuy Synthes Institute from various ‘Centres of Excellence’ and the expert faculty helps answer questions that the attendee may have. Proctorships are also offered on a case- by-case basis.
Program Structure
Day 1: Didactic and hands-on sawbone session on hip arthroplasty moderated by expert faculty along with live/recorded surgeries
Day 2: Didactic and hands-on sawbone session on knee arthroplasty moderated by expert faculty along with live/recorded surgeries

Intermediate Arthroplasty Course
The Intermediate Arthroplasty Course is an intensive 3-day program, aimed at independently practicing arthroplasty surgeons that focuses on the finer nuances of primary arthroplasty. The course is specially structured for surgeons who already have hands-on arthroplasty experience so that some of the key doubts and questions that surgeons encounter during initial surgeries are clarified, thus preparing a solid foundation for future surgeries.
Program Structure
Module 1 – Didactic and hands-on sawbone session on hip arthroplasty coupled with interactive, beamed surgeries moderated by expert faculty
Module 2 – Didactic and hands-on sawbone session on knee arthroplasty coupled with interactive, beamed surgeries, moderated by expert faculty
Module 3 – Cadaver hands-on sessions on hip and knee arthroplasty with individual attention
Module 4 – Proctorship wherein an expert trainer visits your OR and provides an exclusive one-to-one guidance
Registration Fee: INR 15,000 (fee includes travel expenses, cadaver lab hands-on facility, course material, meals as well as a completely sponsored proctor visit to your OR)
Advanced Arthroplasty Course (Complex Primary)
This 3-day course aims at teaching primary arthroplasty exponents, the management of complex primary arthroplasty. The course adopts a discussion-based pedagogical approach wherein you can interact with expert faculty and upgrade your skill-sets on complex cases. Some topics of discussion in the course will be ankylosed hips, limb length discrepancy, extreme varus or valgus and other such complex conditions.

Advanced Arthroplasty Course (High Performance Knee)
This 3-day course aims at introducing fixed-bearing knee arthroplasty exponents to the concepts and applications of mobile bearing technology and implant options. The course provides a perfect launch-pad for arthroplasty surgeons to expand their portfolio of surgical solutions through advanced skills-training under the guidance of masters in mobile bearing knee arthroplasty.
