Johnson & Johnson has a long legacy of giving and is consistently among the leading corporate donors in the world. This work is inspired by Our Credo and our tradition of caring for the health and well-being of people around the world. Strong partnerships with community groups are critical, as local organizations have the greatest insights into the needs of their people and the strategies that stand the greatest chances of success.

Our Mission

We focus on making life-changing, long-term differences in human health by targeting the world's major health-related issues. We work to fulfill this and other philanthropic efforts, through community-based partnerships.

Our focus is not just on business, but on extending a hand to the underserved and underprivileged, in keeping with the tenets of Our Credo which states, “We are responsible to the communities in which we live and work and to the world community as well.” Johnsonian’s at all locations willingly participate in a spectrum of meaningful projects, led by the India Contributions Committee and the 12 Location Committees. Johnsonian’s are involved in projects that contribute to the health and education of underprivileged women and children, the support of mentally and physically challenged children, HIV/AIDS awareness and rehabilitation programs and disaster relief programs across India.

Employees can also contribute through the Employee Giving Program. They contribute a sum from their monthly salaries to NGOs chosen by the company, which is matched 100% by corporate management.
